How interesting Carol. I appreciate your wisdom and perspective on how the hidden arts can get pushed aside by the quotidian, more normal aspects of life and homeschool. I am pondering on that for myself and what I could be finding more balance in. I enjoy arranging flowers and calligraphy and could be putting aside time to practice those more. It is a good example for Iris too. Great post! Congrats to your daughter on the school position.

I started my daughter off with some hexagons when she was younger & she made a coaster out of two of them joined back-to-back. You'll have lots of fun teaching Iris some of your interests. :)

I read it with an online Mothers group two years ago for the second time. Really good. Saw lots that I had not noticed the first time.
