A New Place...

It's been some time since I sent out a Charlotte Mason Newsletter email for those of you who signed up on my blog at journey & destination.

I've had all sorts of hassles trying to log in to my Mailerite account and I was never happy with their email format. That got me talking to my son about technical bits & pieces. He suggested a couple of other options and one of them was Substack. So here I am.

As many of you know, I first blogged about home education, literature, parenting and other related topics at Blogger beginning in 2012, and then moved across to Wordpress about two years ago.

While I enjoyed writing and connecting with some of my readers, I was never really comfortable with some aspects of those platforms. I wanted a place that would allow me to be more…personable. My youngest graduated at the end of 2022 and this year I graduate to a new yet familiar situation - helping out with my grandson’s education at home.

I’ll continue to write about literature and the various aspects of home education. Growing intellectually & spiritually, mothering, navigating the different stages of life and other areas of interest. I have a few ideas simmering and will share these later on.
